BABTISTE Was graduated from the Fredonia State Normal School in 1892, and from Hamilton College in 1896. He came to New York City in the fall of 1896 and taught in the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn till the fall of 1897 when he entered the publishing business with the McGraw Publishing Company, now located at 239 West 39th Street, New York.
