  Anecdote	He was a student at Erlangen where his father's oldest brother was a professor. On December 22, 1763 he arrived at Curaçao as a doctor nine years after his brother Johan Georg arrived. It was with this generation that the name Statius Muller started to become common. However, it was not official until many years later. August Leberegt was the author of "Statius Muller Family Index", the first Statius Muller genealogy that included the story of the flood.
