Introduction

This is a copy of calendar maintained by Alfredo Augusto Scholtz (1879-1937).  After his death his son Rafael continued filling in data at least up until the 1990s.

The document is split in to two sections.  The first is the calendar with typically 6 days per page.  In those dates Alfredo entered birth, marriage and death events along with the corresponding year.  He also entered other events too.

The second section is organized as a genealogy by family, listing birth and marriage dates (and a few death added later).

Almost everyone in the journal is a descendant of Alfredo’s parents Johan Cristafel Scholtz (1837-1905) and Obdulia Roldán (1841-1916).  Johan was born in Curaçao but lived most of his life in Venezuela.  Obdulia likely lived all her life in Venezuela.
