Ira Ayer, Jr. and Allegheny College

Ira Ayer, Jr. Attended Allegheny College's Preparatory Department from the Spring of 1853 through the Spring of 1854.  It was a 4 term program, Spring, Fall, Winter and Spring.

He also attended their Bible Study program for the Fall of 1860 to the Spring of 1861.  He left during the Spring to fight in the Civil War.  He never returned to school.
